Please get in touch as soon as possible. You can never get in touch too soon as we may need to discuss the design in more detail before it is finalised. There are lots of stages which go into producing a custom design for example, some parts of the cake need to be made well in advance, not forgetting ordering the supplies in time. Ideally, I need a minimum of 14 days notice (subject to availability).

If you are unhappy with anything, please do talk to me. I appreciate it can be a daunting process ordering a custom made cake, so please make sure you check that the description on your order form matches the design you want, as this will be what I use when I come to make your cake. I am more than happy to make as many changes to the design as you need to make sure the cake is perfect for your celebration. If you notice something you are not happy with when you collect the cake, please do mention it at the time as I may be able to make an adjustment there and then. Happy customers are repeat customers!
Cake Care
Travelling:
Before you arrive to collect, ensure the air conditioning is turned on and if possible keep it on for the remaining duration of the journey.
Use BOTH hands to hold the cake from the bottom, keep it flat whilst carrying it. Cakes boxes are not always sturdy, so please do not squeeze the sides of the boxes as this may damage the cake!
I always recommend having a passenger where possible to hold the cake during the duration of the journey! If this is not available, place the cake in the footwell of the passenger side/back or the boot of the car. This is the safest place as it is a flat surface. DO NOT place on the seat.
I will not be held responsible for any damages made to the cake after collection.
Storage:
Once at your destination, make sure you store your cake in the fridge straight away. Store in the fridge until around 1-2 hours before consumption.
Cupcakes can be stored in a cool, dark place. In high temperatures, it is recommended to store in the fridge.
Store the cake in the box it is packaged in as this will help keep moisture in the cake.
Always keep away from direct sunlight and heat when on display.
Consumption:
Remove any non-edible decorations before consuming.
Cake is best to eat within 4-5 days.
If you would like to consume your cake a few days later than planned, you can preserve the cake by completely wrapping the boxed cake using cling film and storing it in the fridge.
